Rotary Club honors Ray Conner as First Citizen
The Chesapeake Rotary Club proudly honored one of their own as First Citizen of Chesapeake with a dinner at the Chesapeake Conference Center where 600 well-wishers enjoyed the event. Ray Conner was the groups' selection. A former President of the Club, Commissioner of the Revenue Ray Conner also ran previous First Citizen Dinners. Since Ray was the honoree, City Councilwoman Debbie Ritter chaired the event's special evening.
